Warranty

DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED warrants all its High-Density Polyethylene individual float product to be free from defects and or leaks in material and workmanship for AS LONG AS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OWNS THE PRODUCT and the product is used for non-commercial personal use and if not altered by the original purchaser or any third party when used in normal marine settings and under applicable marine law. Normal marine settings would include areas where the individual float remains buoyant in fresh or salt water and is free from debris and does not come in contact with rocks or submerged land. The warranty shall apply only to the High-Density Polyethylene individual float and will exclude all other dock components that attach to, rest on or make up the overall floating dock system. All other product will have its own manufacturer’s warranty.

If the High-Density Polyethylene float product should prove defective in material or workmanship within that period, DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED or its contractors will, at the sole discretion of DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED, repair or replace a defective individual flotation unit or related component part with a new or reconditioned unit. Service under this Warranty may be obtained by notifying a DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED dealer of a warranty claim, at which time the claim will then be evaluated for validity within 30 days.

This Warranty shall be void in any instance where the cause of the defect or leak is deemed to be from misuse, negligence, or any intentional act of a person other than qualified DOCKS-R-US personnel.

In the event of a claim the defective product is to be returned to DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED location for further inspection and if valid the product will be repaired or replaced with new or comparable used product of which this warranty will apply. All costs for returning or shipping product will be borne by the original purchaser. DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED warranty and product is not subject to the opinion or inspection of any third parties or experts. All replacements or repairs are only to be carried out by DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED personnel.

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of a DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED high-density polyethylene product. DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED makes no express warranties other than this warranty set forth herein and a DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED dealer or agent has no authority to extend a greater or different warranty on behalf of DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED, except to the extent prohibited by law. All other warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, if any, including but not limited to the warranties and/or conditions of merchantability, of satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose, are specifically disclaimed.

This warranty applies only to DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED product purchased through an approved DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED dealer or sales contractor. Limitation of liability, remedies and damages. In no event shall DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use, or inability to use, the product or accessories or arising out of any other circumstances associated with the sale of the product, including without limitation damages based on loss of profit, loss or interruption business, loss of time, inconvenience, damage to the product, personal injury, death, or damage to personal or real property, or damages resulting from misuse or modification of your DOCKS-R-US INCORPORATED flotation unit, even if docks r us incorporated is advised in advance of the possibility of any above-described damages. This limited warranty shall not extend to anyone other than the original purchaser of the product. The purchaser hereby acknowledges that these specifications are subject to change without notice and understands this warranty and is bound to the terms and conditions herein.
